Professor in Social Pedagogy. Director of Inter-university (UNED, Spain and UL, Latvia) master studies program on “Educational treatment to diversity” and member of International coordinating committee of this program. Lecturing, seminars in doctoral, inter-university master and master in pedagogy  academical programs. Research on early school leaving, inclusion and implementation of Life-long learning strategy in Spain- Latin American and Asian – European networks. Elaboration and management of EU, Latvian states and University research projects and organization of research activities, workshops and meetings during the doctoral studies of University of Latvia in Pedagogy; tutoring of academical personal and doctoral students in using of mixed methods, realization of research projects, publications, implementing of results in academical and educational praxis areas. Leading of the trans-disciplinary Doctoral school on Human capacity and learning quality in diversity inclusive contexts. LU management representative in University Council of ASEM Education and Research Hub for Lifelong Learning (ASEM HUB LLL) since 2008.
